Lockhart Tragedy.

Just heard on the news of a farmer who has shot his wife and three children
before doing himself in. How tragic. I know we will never know what was going on in his head but why take the innocent kids with him.

I live in a small town myself, a bit bigger than Lockhart and I know if this happened here it would shatter the town.

It is really shocking. I could never imaging hurting my family, and this guy was probably the same, right up to the moment it all went wrong. I hope all their family and friends are doing ok

Sad so very very sad. I cant begin t imagine what would drive you to do such an extreme thing


My thoughts and wishes go out to the familys that have to deal with this.

Yep. Just terrible.

More people die this way than from road accidents. That doesn't include collateral deaths.

Very sad indeed.
I used to travel through this town frequently on my way through to Narrandera.
From what I have seen a very tight not community, and I am sure they will all be feeling it.
A lovely place to drive through during spring when the crops are coming out.
