if you don't want to do that go to bleepingcomputer.com
download
combofix (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix)
while there also get
TDSSKiller (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/tdsskiller/)
AdwCleaner (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/)
Junkware Removal Tool (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-removal-tool/)

Why are you getting the warning? Is it from the PC's antimalware or are you getting it on a website?
1. Disconnect the PC from the Internet. That way you prevent the malware from inviting its mates over to play.
2. Run the existing antimalware and follow its instructions to remove the offending software.
3. Reboot and reconnect to the Internet.
4. Get the latest antimalware definitions for your antimalware program.
5. Rescan.
Keep in mind some software incorrectly gets identified as malware. McAfee in particular has a reputation for false positives.

There are so many variables at play here... That message is quite likely to be just a fake to make you download some rubbish program that is a trojan anyway!
My first (and free!) step would be to restore the system to an earlier date, when the message didn't exist. Look up system restore for your version of windows (google).
If that works, then you need to start following advice for installing anti malware/virus scanners on your system. Ideally you need someone that knows what they are doing to look at the computer. Hard to sort out these things without a fair bit of clicking involved - easy to download / install the wrong thing. But free stuff is available - You just need to know where to look.
