Yes found not guilty of premeditated murder but can be guilty of murder or manslaughter under the SA system.

The judge has said the prosecution is circumstantial but Pistorius not a reliable witness.

Even given this development I still truely believe that no matter what
happens, Pistorius wont walk...

I have heard that he may get off on a technicality because they were playing a drinking game at the time ...The rules were that anytime someone goes to the toilet, you have to take four shots.

Don't want to make light of a serious subject, but did you see the shine on the bald head of the fellow sitting in front of Pistorious? I'd like some of what he used for my D2. Bob

I watched this last night.....and find the judge's decision flawed....in my opinion anyway; I'm sure she's far more qualified than I.

However, I find it beyond reasonable to say that a man who knew guns and was familiar with them, shot four times at a door to a small room and didn't expect that someone COULD get killed.

This is the part I don't get. What sort of idiot fires a gun at anything and doesn't expect there to be some damage? Come to that, what sort of idiot doesn't pick up the phone first.....or get his girlfriend to call the cops, given that he 'thought she was in bed'.

It's all a bit odd to me. Even if he gets slammed with culpable homicide, he's still got off lightly. When he fired four times, he knew someone was going to get hurt.

An interesting insight nonetheless, into the South African judicial system. And yes, I'd also like some of that blokes' bonce cream for my Healey.
