The "Eichmann Before Jerusalem" bit make me wonder if there is any reasonable way in dealing with fanatics returning from ISIL to Australia.

The Author Paul Monk is from the I.P.A. which is not my favorite organisation as itself seems a little fanatical or significantly right wing

The only way to deal with these fanatics if you want to call them that is to prevent them from returning to Australia. They are nothing more than cowardly murderers who slaughter unarmed people. I can imagine what the marines will do to them when they catch up with them - only a matter of time I suspect. Forget about what their passports say they are not Australians in my mind if they participate in this conflict with IS. If they like and support IS they can stay there!. Send them back and their families as well if they support them.
