I must admit as much as i like the sprint rounds the enduros is the part of the season i love the most. Some of the partnerships for this years race are some of the best i have seen for a while.

Craig Lowndes and Steve Richards is a pairing with incredible race wins and experience and one to watch out for.Steve Johnson,Greg Murphy,Paul Morris, all bring added experience to their younger drivers.Today also see's the pairing of the Davidson brothers for the first time.

I am very interested to see how the Volvo's perform today in the longer format.GRM also have some very good co-drivers,the weak link is still Dahlgren but he will get better. It still amazes me how good Bowe and Richards are, even at this age. Those TCM cars would not be easy to drive.

I'm watching 7mate at the moment,...the real telecast starts in 10 mins.
Go Jamie, I'd like to see James Courtney & Greg Murphy do OK & I have a special interest in Nick Percat as a good friend of mine engineers his car.
Top weather too, not as good as Magnetic Island though??..(Just had 10 days there!)Pickles.

Young Percat is another one of the young guns coming through,he has got some talent that kid:) Don't know about you,but there is some very strong pairings this year and with how close all teams are this year i think it will be a very good enduro season.

Bloody shame i missed you when you were up here, would have shown you around the place.

Great day of racing today,it just makes me wonder why some people find it boring.I just don't understand why?Qualifing sessions were exciting and sprint for the grid 1 and 2 were bloody great.

Great news for the Kelly boys with Nissan to keep racing for at least two more seasons. They have had a tough time since using the Altima i wonder if Fred Gibson would have got better results from the Nissan's?

What happened to James I use to work for his dad.

The fuel hose coupling got jammed on the car and the team could not get it off so they have parked it up.

That shouldn't happen at that level. Thanks.

Then again it could be to hide another problem. A torana was retired from a race due to electronic problems. The number 5 piston had exited the block and taken out the dissy.

Spot on mate that should not happen at all,the full story is his pit controller told him to go but the fuel hose was still attached and they made stop so i guess that's what caused it to lock onto the car.Even after they removed the hose from the coupling the coupling was still stuck to the car.

Whincup and Dumbrell made that look very easy well done to them.Sends a bit of a message to rest of the field with Bathurst coming up.Wow Lee holdsworth smash looked very nasty lots of work for team to fix.

I feel Mchlaughlin's car getting held up in the pits was absolutely a load of ****.But that is racing i guess. The bottle-o car looked like it had some good pace, same for the FPR cars.

GREAT race, enjoyed every second of it.
Jamie won, BRILLIANT 1000% perfect performance all weekend.
BUT, only 3-4 seconds in front of HRT at the end of 161 laps, NOT a dominating victory by any stretch of the imagination,...just shows that HRT under Burgess are catching,...rapidly.
HRT have some other upgrades,...Bathurst is different, very different, there's ALWAYS an element of luck there,...who will win, NOBODY knows!
But what I do know is that I'm really looking forward to Bathurst, which is shaping up to be again, "THE GREAT RACE".
