Nah, the Gee Bee had a huge radial engine (in relation to the fuselage).

Im leaning towards spitfire because of the exhaust ports on sides....but
does the mustang have those too?

But with the cabin so far back and the square tail it could be german...

when you throw it does it fly back???
(it could be a boomerang :) )

Sorry to have to tell you this Basil, but I don't think it will fly....

It is a Stanley wood plane.

Seriously, it has the proportions of a 1930's air racer. All nose and engine and a tiny cockpit bubble.

Tsunami pylon racer from the 80s

By jove Pete - I think you've got it - the wing planform mightn't be quite right but overall it's quite close

Spruce Goose

Id like to see it fly, can you put an engine and servos in it.

If I can make a plane built from coke cans fly - you can make that fly too

What about a Turtledeck'd P-51. Though I still think it's a Tsunami...

Some pretty good, and close guesses... ;)

Yes, it is a wooden plane. No prizes for that one, sorry... :P

It is evidently, a 1/20th scale model of an Aero Racer.

I did the Google thing, and found this:

:eek2: Mmmh bit of a stretch of imagination from wooden model and Red Bull pylon acer, proportions a bit wrong. But a good effort :clap2:
