Can someone please tell me how to reset my service indicator? 2003 L322 TD6
I thought that my Faultmate would do this but cannot find the option within the system.
I have written to "Blackbox Solutions" and await a reply

Try this !
Resetting the Oil Service or Service Interval Message 02-<05
Ignition key must be “off”
•Press and hold the trip odometer button in the instrument cluster (left button), and turn the ignition key to the first position (KLR).
•Keep the button pressed for approximately 5 seconds until one of the following words appear in the display: “OIL SERVICE, or “INSPECTION”, with “reset”.
•Release the reset button and press and hold it again until “reset” begins to flash.
•While the display is flashing, press the left button briefly to reset the service interval.
•After the display has shown the new interval, the following will appear: “END SIA”.

Laurie: That worked just fine ( as you knew it would) and I have documented it for the future

Same question, different LR .. 2011 D4 SDv6 SE.
I have seen a Utube video showing how to reset the service indicator using a d4 with the large lcd screen, but I only have the basic small (non-touch) one. Alas, also no trip reset button either as given in Laurie's solution.
