I have just removed and cleaned off the inside roof lining and painted it. Looks good. Does anyone know where can I get the same material as the roof lining to do another car, not a Land Rover.

BlackbuttDisco, are you looking for the fabric trim or the thick, moulded material behind it? If the fabric, then a motor trimmer might be able to supply it.

The thick cardboard type material. It looks like fibreglass but its not.

I'm afraid that I have no idea where or how to get that material, but if you find out, I would also like to know! Unless it is already moulded to the exact shape that you need to fit your application, how do you plan to shape it?

Was thinking of putting the body on a rotisserie, soaking the "material" with water till it is soft, and making it fit the roof and wait for it to dry, which will not be difficult in summer.

Once you've got it the wet liner in then fill it up with sand, this will ensure that it's pressed into the roof.:D
