May I ask have any of you guys ever driven or sat in the passengers seat of an Explorer???

While it aparently wasn't a "real 4wd" is WAS terribly cumfortable...drove well...had some really really nifty features that no other car has...it was grea to drive...and we liked it!!!!!

Oh, that far. I had the same problem when looking for my disco, there was nothing in NSW at all that met my budget and requirements. In the end i got mine from the ACT, the only hassle with interstate buying, is getting a blue slip. Whilst a good vehicle will pass, and mine did easy, its just a pain in the arse. Did you go down and drive it? Matt

looking in 4x4 trader each month it appears that the the land rovers in queensland cost more second hand than they do new for some reason.
if you live in queensland its gotta be worthwile shopping interstate sight unseen......if not happy with purchase sell it. you will make money on it.

A big pain in the arse yes indeed but we know what to do now as we got the Explorer from Vic too, no we didn't get to drive it a friend that lives in Timboon took it for a test he spent 2 hours looking it over and even talked to the previous owners who happen to be family friends and live in Timboon as well 8O style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif In Vic part of the selling agreement is that you have give your contact details for perspective buyers. 8O

I didnt know that, they should do that in NSW, it would stop some of the shonky stuff that goes on. as it arrived yet?
