Hi there,
Need to have general service and brake service (have parts for brakes)
Been to Austral LR-Newstead (too expensive)
Been to Knights house of rover but they didn't seem happy when I brought parts
Thinking about going to Comet, anyone tried this place before?
Thanks.

Haven't tried Comet, but you could try MR automotive in Redcliffe.

The age old words, you get what you pay for. Good specialist service people are not that thick on the ground, we need to support them so they are there when we need them.

Greg Tunstall at Cleveland. He's 10 min from the train station which is handy for me.

I'll second Greg. We have 3 D4s at work and he looks after them all.

Also been to technobritish. Good guy but he's working out of his garage as his shop was damaged by flood. Have spoken to comet, sounds like they know what they're talking about, no issues with bringing parts in just can't give warranty which is fine by me. Booked in for Wednesday, we'll see how it goes.

Has anybody else used Knights House of Rover at 3/56 Burrows St Bowen Hills at all?
Just curious as to what they are like as I drive past them on my way to work......

Rob, been there heaps of times. They only do LRs from what I've seen so they definitely know their stuff. Guy running it has been doing LRs for quite a while but I think he's just managing the place now and not actually doing the work. I've been there for devices and much cheaper than dealer

There is also Rover Care in Slacks Creek. We have used him many times.

MR Auto at redcliffe would be my choice. I have been using them for a couple of years since coming off lease and found them very good and prices much better then the stealers.

I've used Rovercare in Slacks Creek a number of times with my D1, and been really happy with the work and help Paul has given.
Took my D4 to MR Automotive in Redcliffe recently, and they were very helpful, MUCH cheaper than the dealer, and did a good job.
Also used Austral L/R - service and knowledge was good, although very expensive...

I've just swapped from Knights to Greg Tunstall Mechanical. They both know their Landrovers!

I have been using MR Automotive in Redcliffe since 2009. No BS and fair price on service and parts.
