Hey Ian, I haven't seen one of those since my mother used them back in the 1950's.:)
p.s She used to spray that DDT stuff everywhere and I'm still alive.

thinking of that insect sprayer reminded me of a situation in the NT , many years ago when I was a remote areas diesel fitter.
I had to change out a coupling on a 4-500kw alternator and I tried everything to remove it, including cdc, wd40, heat pullers and a fhb but it wouldn't budge.
In desparation I decided to try anything and gave the whole shaft and coupling a soaking with a insect repellant I think called scram.
Lo and behold , after a half hour or so I made another attempt and off it came.

I don't know why you started it either but it's pretty funny.
I have never used the cans myself but the concept seem sound to me mate.
Think I might buy a set for myself.
Cheers

Concept sounds good, but since its basically messing around mixing small quantities of paint, IMO you may as well get a small compressor and a touch up gun. You'd probably get both for about the same price as the eco-can's and you can use the compressor for other things.
Cleanup would be the same I'd think.
Buying tins of paint is only economic if you're going through them quickly enough to actually use them before they go off. I've got spray guns and compressor, but unless I'm doing larger pieces or have a project with a lot of the same colour I find it better to just grab a spray can than to be messing around mixing and cleaning up guns afterwards.

Trade tools in Queensland sell what appears to be a more robust can for around the same price / cheaper than fleabay. Haven't used one though.
