I'm interested in an item at Coberg, but it's pick-up only. If anyone can help me out it is a box
.

*Local pickup ONLY from Coburg, VIC

(The box is 1.55 meters long, please ensure it can fit in your vehicle prior to pick up)

Once picked-up I will try AULRO courier or my work to get it to Queensland.
Happy to compensate for cost and inconvenience, thanks.

I reckon I could collect it next Friday or Saturday.

Thanks fellas, I'll make the purchase now and get the pick-up details.
Mick, I thought you were working in SA now, so would be out of your way big time.

A day too late. I was in Melb yesterday and Coburg could easily have been en-route.

I can also help if needed, not far from work and can fit the item in.

Cheers,
Dave.

Where are you going? Anywhere near Canberra? Do you have a Pintle?

d2dave

Mick. Not going anywhere, I am at home.

Ian. If you are stuck I will be going to Melb again next weekend for the Granny.

Having just re-read your OP this would be providing it is not too heavy for my roof rack, or if so would be happy to take a trailer.

Ian

I also near Coburg so could pick it up for you.

Strewth, you gotta love Land Rover folk, they're always ready to give a hand; thanks heaps guys.

The seller replied "weekdays after 5pm.", who does this suit best? I have a phone number and address that I would prefer to PM.

I estimate the weight at less than 20kg.

Mick_Marsh

Would the drop off point be the same one as last time?
Maybe more suitable attire would be appropriate.

No Mick, :D Not sure of the second stage yet.

I could post you some temporary tatts.

Doesn't suit me but, if you are desperate I will accommodate. Other issue for you is if I take it home it gets it closer to you in Qld but could make it harder to get to you.

I could if you wish leave at my mum's place in Melb for later PU by some one else.

Although you seem to have plenty of offers already, I can grab it any evening too by the way.

Gav. If your shed has not improved since I last saw it you would not be able to hold if for Ian pending pick up.:)

It's a bit better (not much with a series 3 in there), but I can always find room for just one more thing... :D

That time of the day does not really suit me as I leave at 3pm. I'm happy to store it though if Gav can pick it up.

Cheers,
Dave.

Ex Laverton, is that do-able or not for anyone?

Laverton's a fizzer so I'll revert to AULRO courier. So who will get the ball rolling and do the pick-up? Thanks.

Homestar

I didn't see your post yesterday about Laverton - I can get it there no dramas if needed still or did it turn pear shaped for another reason?

I can pick it up, but not until early next week. If someone else can grab it, I can get it to Laverton still if required.

V8Ian
24th September 2014, 08:35 PM
No, Laverton went belly up from this end.
I'll be meeting Series Boy in Taree the weekend after next, I think he's in Sydney so if I could get it to him, that would make life easy.

Not picked up yet?
Send me the details. Will it fit in the Commodore or do I need the trailer?

Well, that was surprisingly easy. In an area I used to know well. Bonus.

Mind you, Ian, I can't for the life of me understand why you would want a thousand extra durable vinyl repair kits.

Just got it serviced today. It hoots along when you push the pedal. I had to get an under 20' pilot license before I could drive it.
Why would you want any other car?

Ah karma is wonderful. The mob I was hoping to bring it up sub-contract to my employer and deliver up to eight containers a day to their rented premises on my employer's site. They flatly refused, despite the favours I do them numerous times daily, shunting trailers on and off their docks.
Last week I stopped doing those favours, forcing them to hire another company to do so. Today they approached my allocator asking him to direct me to do so (as an unpaid favour). Long story short, I went to the top and have been directed not to do the extra work.

So I guess I'll have to Aussie post it to here Mick. I think I binned your details Mick. :(
