My headlights are kinda dim in my 91 Disco. Also, when I hit the brights, the passenger lamp goes out and driver side turns bright. Any ideas what could cause this? My auto electrical knowledge isn't really all that. Thanks in advance for any help! Cheers!

Sounds like an earthing issue. Remove and clean your earths at your lights and also the earth strap that goes from the body to chassis - in fact, cleaning them all wouldn't hurt.:)

Agreed. Bad earthing causes all sorts of weirdness.

Now you know.. Next time you see some bloke with his brake lights blinking when he means to turn a corner you can tell him.... Not a LR thing. Datsun 180B's were famous for it. And most trailers.
