D2 involved in police operation in Sydney, a dark Landrover D2 was pictured on Ch 9 early news, parked near the fence at Lucas Heights surrounded by police cars, I hope it was just a case of "Dead D2" and is/was not being used for more sinister use.

Well, someone nasty might say it was a bomb planted/parked outside ;) .
Or, if it was a Td5 that hadn't had the oil pump bolt done, a time bomb.

There is for this woman Jim, she's battling for her life, it's not just a flesh wound. Her partner has a fractured skull from the same assailant. All happened in front of the kids.

I drove past as it was happening, around 4.10pm, it was 100 to 150mtrs up the road from the entrance and no where near the security gate AND on the opposite side of the road:eek:
