Not bad, what did you have to do to the engine bay to fit the V8 in it. Matt

Read this bit:
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>I am rebuilding my 1979 Ser3 109 Landy ute. 5 years ago I fitted a ford 302 cleveland and C4 auto. At the moment I have it stripped back to its bare chassis. I have just finished fabricating a sub chassis to lift the body 4 inches and welded in new brackets to lift the seat box and bulkhead up,the other welding job I'm about to tackle is to extend the front dumb irons to match my army hangers plus make a cut out in the front crossmember so the front propshaft doesn't hit on full articulation.

Hi Ace
The Cleveland is a tight fit!!!!!! Windsor would fit better(Y block vs V block),had to cut a bit of the chassis rail and plate it upon the left to allow for fittings for a remote oilfilter. Also fitted a new crossmember in front of the original then cut the old one out at the steering relay and re-inforced the steering relay.
Dont intend working on it until the house is painted and a few other home improvement projects are completed.
Im hoping to keep hold of it as a "long term" rainy day project.Originaly I was going have it as a road registered off road racer, could go down the road of not registering it and racing it,or if my boy has his way turn it into a rockcrawler(non rego)
It has a 2 inch suspension mount lift and a 4 inch bodylift at the moment. To avoid big problems with the rego people I have to cut 2 inches from the body lift.
