Gday, dear audience. Here's my D2 converted to LPG.

- converter: tomasetto alaska
- injectors: valtek type 37
- ecu: Digitronic evo 3D power (aka STAG-300)
- two steel tanks, 40l each : JSC Novogrudok gas equipment plant
- lpg multi valves with safety valve : i don't remember the manufacturer

Locked refilling limitation by cutting off the float on multivalve. Don't call me "crazy russian", "vodka-spoilin' ..." and so on. Remembering the fact that there's no 20% room for LPG thermal expansion and some precaution measures helps me and my rover to fly horizontally, but no vertically  The measures are - not enter to warm garages/parking lots from cold and not to leave the car with full tanks. Because of uncultivated chain lpg-fuelling stations you can't leave the car with full tank, you always expend some gas till you leave it. BTW safety valve on lpg multi valve i mentioned already. So, i have extra 20% of lpg, which helps alot in my case with few fuelling stations in my area.

Standart fuel tank replaced by approx. 40l hand made fuel tank, which located under the right rear wing. So, i have trunk without this ugly scuba/toroidal/cylindrical garbage in it :)

Fuel consumption is about 20-25l/100km (it depends how fast you trying to fly and traffic ofcourse). All this stuff i installed and tuned by myself.

Here's some pic's:

That's very high lpg consumption...my v8 on lpg is around 16-18.

Cheers

Thank's for reply. About fuel consumption... mine could eat less, but you know, there's a lot of factors that increases it. Mine is 4,6 - it eats little more than your's 4,0. In origin mine was 4,0, but i swapped only engine, all the engine management systems (ECU, MAF) are from old engine. Rattling tappets, and, as result, low efficiency of valve train. Tires are 245/75r16 M/T - in comparison whith road or A/T tires, it eats little more. My driving style is way far from optimal and, as i mentioned, traffic in Moscow and region is awful. Little by little...we have what we have :(
Maybe i over-dramatize a little

Bee Utey is our resident gas expert so if you need help contact him.

I am sure he will give you some help on how to reduce consumption although his call out fee may be a little high.

Hi mate, yes different factors. I have same size tyres but in AT, bull bar, rock sliders and other heavy kit but mine is 4.0 and manual transmission....and yes i did not factor in heavy Moscow traffic. It is great to hear from an LR fan from Russia. Now i have seen plenty of pictures of Putin hunting bear, shirt off, but if he was a real man he would drive a Land Rover. ;)

Cheers

If that brainless alpha male ruled his country instead of hunting bear with shirt off, there would'nt be heavy traffic in Moscow. Cause people can't earn enough money for their families in regions and have to move in Moscow (i am one of those hobos, but in the sphere of IT). So, your remark about our shameless "leader" is correct... Putin is one of those "different factors" that increases fuel consumption and maintenace cost of my rover :)
Seriously speaking, your's d2 fuel consumption is very good, now i have something to strive for :)
