I am going to install new rear drive flanges on my Puma and will check and regrease the wheel bearings while I am there. What do I need in the way of bearing lock nuts, washers, seals etc. I believe that once you remove the bearing nut it cant be reused and there is a spacer between the bearings for the right amount of float that can be reused or omitted altogether. Can someone point me in the right direction. I have done wheel bearings on other makes before and they were straight forward. I have found tutorials on older Landrovers but they don't seem to have the Puma setup.
Thanks if anyone can help.

These two posts above May help.

If you are going to be using Bearmach brand heavy duty aftermarket drive flanges, just be aware that the Bearmach brand drive flange gaskets do not always fit them. The gaskets are usually a little to small.

Also, drive flange gaskets com in different thicknesses, sometimes the Bearmach brand flanges come with a few dents and raised bits on them and as such may require a thick gasket.....

Ashcroft brand (UK manufacturer and member of this forum) drive flanges are the best I have personally used.

If you are thinking of buying KAM drive flanges, I have a few busted ones somewhere......

Maxi drive flanges are also held in high esteem, but I have never used them.

There are a lot of people on this forum that go for oil lubricated bearings for the longer life.
