Can anybody tell me what reaction I'll get using stainless bolts to attach stainless mesh to gal?

The gal will corrode away first and will (depending on the grade of the bolt) start to attack the bolt. Once the gal has a given up around the stainless the underlying steel on the gal will begin to corrode away.

adepebding on what you are bolting or screwing I to use normal.bolts and give them a got with cold cal to deal them up or use gal bolts as well.

Thanks Dave, but that transfers the problem to the bolt/mesh. I think I'll have to isolate the bolts with fibre or neoprene washers.

And use heat shrink sleeve (or paste) to cover the threaded sections.m

I will see it neoprene top hat washers are available.

When using Gal and S/S we/I use Teflon top hat washers and on the threads and shank of the bolt for added peace of mind I use "Duralac". This was specified for all assemblies we used on the Airport Link Tunnel. Some years ago I used Duralac on S/S bolts into an Aluminium outboard block and also coated the water galleries and internal threads with it, several years later all disassembled with no problem and the galleries were clean and corrosion free

While Duralac is great it does dryout and crumble if moved. Tef-Gel was developed for the space program .It is a teflon paste anti seize corrosion protection which remains soft and wont wash out Great stuff but bloody dear:(
