M109Rs on The Tail of the Dragon.

Boy, they scrape very easily! The road must be very good or the M109R is very smooth in its suspension setup.

It might take a while to load.

That would be classed a a fire hazard in summer? I thought my BM had some clearance problems before I updated the shocks. Nice bit of road tho.

The Tail of the Dragon is quite popular having 318 bends in 11 miles (17km).

Check Youtube for Tail of the Dragon.

Thanks Ron,

I regularly chat with those guys...

Most have titanium feelers in the pegs to really get the sparks flying ;)

All the bikes in the video are running air ride suspension systems, titanium feelers in the pegs and the guys really do push these things..

Weighing in at 374kg dry they are a big bike, and to muscle over the back tyre takes some effort too... :)

I thought the ride looked very smooth.

Have you still got the M109R?

Still have the 9 :) Going great.

Waiting a while and then the mods will roll in again... Just had to divert to other things for a while.

I don't often wear gloves, removes that extra feel...

Often don't wear a jacket or trousers either... Figure there's plenty to wear away if I come off!!!

Bitumen 'Lipo' is a bit extreme Mikey!!!

My BIL had a woolen weave imprint of his shirt for months after hitting the back of a truck in the slow lane...:( and I've been VERY fortunate when I've hit the deck, just broken bones mostly:o
