The 48 I ordered from UK, the S3 ute a friend found at Cash Converters. I think I bought the 2 red ones from Brisbane Motor Show. The Defender , Disco 4 & range Rover I found on Ebay the other day as a set.
I'll post my 1/43 scale in the next couple of days.

Probely is . I'am trying to collect one of each model Landrover , also trying to collect one of every car I have owned which is difficult because some they only made sedans in the model & i had a ute or station wagon in that type of vehicle:eek:. I'll keep looking you never know I just managed to get a model of a P3 Rover which i have been looking for for years.:D

Well, when I was a boy in the sixties, diecast was big. We used to get a new Matchbox car most times we went into town, after looking at the catalogue for hours. A Corgi or a "big Matchbox" model or one of the "sets" would maybe be the big Christmas present.

I kept my boyhood LRs. I still have my Corgi Land-Rover 2A green 109 ute. I still have my little Matchbox Land-Rover 2A 88 roof less. Alas I lost my Matchox 2A 109 safari station wagons somewhere along the way.

My boys had the later Matchbox 90 Hardtops. Of course.

As for diecast collections, Peter H. (Llan Rova Parts) built up a huge collection. Huge.

I have around 100 Land Rover models all up, though not all diecast.

1 is sheetmetal and I have a wooden one too, both African.

I still have my very first LR model, bought in the 60's ......a LWB Safari Wagon, mint with box.

When I went to high school I gave all my diecast models to the young boys next door there were 8 children in there family& they didn't have a lot of toys. I still have one left a MG TC which I had lost in the yard & was digging in the yard a few years later & found it. Half the underside plate had rusted away & was missing the rear wheels but I have had it about 60 years now .:D

Hello from Sherwood.

There are some specialty hobby shops in the UK that sell the parts for certain diecast models, including Dinky, Corgi etc.

A web search can track them down.

Cheers

They did not have a black 6 light with red interior so I had to wait about 6 weeks to get this variant made to match mine :)

I also have HUE 166 in 1:18 signed by AG :)

I have one given to me by a really kind collector from new Newy I think who I bought some stuff off. I think he also painted them. He had a really nice 130 Single extra cab with an ally tray also.

Some more 80's. The last one with the broken l/h bumper is about 64 years old .:D The plate is from the Landrover 50th in the UK, its a pity they didn't make to the same quality as an old Landrover. The black enamel is coming off:mad: , I have to work out how I am going to restore it.

I saw that one but it's not Oxford Blue. To be honest for A$200 I would want the correct colour

The one I am looking at is iridescent blue with a starting price of around $10 & around $29 delivery to Australia , it is not a new model & I don't think it comes with a box . It is 1/24 scale These prices are Australian $.

I was in Launceston on the weekend and ended up at the motor museum - which is very good .

They sold models also ......which I purchased !

So I have a lovely 1:18 minichamps land rover , very nice .

Now they also had the 'road service ' black and yellow version also , priced very reasonably at $180.00 ( cheapest on eBay is $225.00 plus del )

Just purchased a Hot Wheels series III pickup and a Defender Double Cab to add to the collection (as if I need any more.....).
I also got the '65 series II from Big W a while ago (get one soon before a store near you closes).

Found another Hot Wheels Series III today.
Seems there is a red one as well (according to an Ebay seller).

I need to stop looking.....
Today I found two 90's (65th Anniversary ?!) and a '65 Land Rover GEN II (sic) but blister packed rather than boxed.

Still haven't found a Red Hot Wheels Series III
