After being sent away by the surgeon 3 weeks ago because of a small bit of bark off my knuckle, tomorrow i finally get my mongrel hip replaced with one that works, hopefuly. Will be good to be able to walk properly without severe pain,oh and being able to earn a living again will be good:pAlso sold my D2,so will be able to get 2 new front air struts for my L322,so it can hold it's head up again.Be in hospital for about a week, and basically out of action for a couple of months,no driving my 130 for a while:(It will be worth it;)

There's a nipple joke in there somewhere, but I can't think of one:)
Best of luck.

Best wishes. Keep the old bit and send it to the Israeli Army. Did not Simpson slay the Palestinians with the ass-bone of a Jew?

Good idea not having any open injury before hip replacement surgery, if you get an infection it is nearly impossible to get rid of it when you have metal inside of you.
I got a staph infection in my femur after a hip revision, been on heavy antibiotics since January and its still not killed, looks like all of the metal will have to come out to kill it.
Having said that most hip replacements go off without any problems like my 1st one.
Anyway good luck and enjoy all that physio (or else :D:D).
