I am a memeber of the Central West 4wd Club and the LROC Sydney Branch. Havent had much to do with the LROC yet, but from the guys i have been emailing and talking to they seem to be a nice bunch. I will be enjoying my first benefits of the LROC in March when i take part in their Driver Training. Matt

We are soon to be i hope will not say at the moment, i have resisted up till this point because of politics in clubs, i know this from friends and being a life member of Northern districts motorcycle club (a racing club) not a gang had to clarify this.
Iam looking forward to this i must say.

Thats the good thing about the LROC, you dont have to attend meetings if you dont want to. I wish i could, but it is too far away. But if you dont like the politics of it all you can just enjoy meets and the magazine. Matt

No worries Barney, will do. I wanted to do the Orange Recce trip at the begining of feb, but thats when the BBQ weekend is. But i am keen to get more involved in club runs so i will do what i can.
And to redback and Maggot, dont you think there are enough "hang **** on Ace" threads, do we really need another one?
Dont answer that. Matt

Range Rover Club, Sydney
Can never seem to find time to get to meetings tho, but the mags are good. Not enough runs in my direction either! (and less now that the gates have gone up at Yalwal).

No, planning on heading to Lake Gairdner in SA for the Dry Lake Racing Association speed trials at easter, need to prep for this. A mate from uni is going to run his Chev 454 powered HQ Monaro and try and set a record in the LPG powered section. Should be fun 8)

Good stuff Jason, are you interested in doing the driver training. The first weekend in around the 6th of march. Would it be possible to camp at your place, stacey doesnt want to camp with Marcos being so young. Matt

ace,
the campsite for the driver training is quitew close to the training ground and kid friendly. camping there will not only give you a chance to get to know some of the club members, but also allow you to hang around 4wding with them in the area and also leave with them in the morning so that there is less chance of losing them between awaba and stockton.

Thanks Barney, but its difficult with a 3 month old baby as we dont have the gear yet to cater for him whilst camping. The tent we have is barely big enough for us. I would love to camp, but stacey doesnt want to yet. Matt
