I think I'm going to have a go at replacing my rear air struts, but I want to make sure I purchase the right ones.
It seems that there was some sort of change to them in about 2007 because some sellers recommend different part numbers depending on your car's VIN for example Famour Four show two different ones (http://www.famousfour.co.uk/new_parts/partslist'veh=disco_3&sec=spst&sub_sec=shocks) depending on your VIN. However another supplier I spoke to says that the 2007+ strut will suit the earlier vehicles also.
Does anyone know what the difference between the old type rear strut and new type is, and if the newer one will suit the older cars?
