D4 Service Indicator Reset

Hi.
This question seems to have popped up a couple of times but none of the answers have applied to my D4. How do I reset the Service Indicator in a D4 MY2011 SDv6 SE with basic entertainment system option?
-- I have seen a solution involving the key and trip reset button. I don't have one.
-- I have seen a solution involving the large entertainment screen D4. Mine is the basic one.
-- I have seen a solution involving using a diagnostic unit. Don't own one (yet).
Does anybody happen to know how you reset the service indicator in my case? Thanks!!!!:confused::confused::confused:

This may work but if I remember correctly it could depend on model year but give it a go:

Ignition on engine not running
Foot brake fully on and full throttle for approx ten seconds
Ignition off then back on again to see if it's cleared
