sorry .... just got carried away in the moment style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

G'Day Discowhite,
Try saying that again on Tuesday 1st Feb - AFTER all the school kids go back to school (Mon 31st) and all those 'UAVD - soccer mums' are on the roads too - driving them to school and back.............
See how you do then!?! 8O
Nah, it shouldn't be that bad - but it will probobly take you more than the 20 mins you got away with the other day!
(bit of local help for you there - oh yeah, and look out for those "Urban Assult Vehicle Driving, Soccer Mum's" they can be cranky in the mornings! - esp if they haven't had their 1st coffee 8O style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif )
Cheers

Hey knight!
i used to have so much fun with socker mums in
brissy. just getting in front of them is enough! i also like to use the
old block them behind other cars trick, and
my fave was wait till there beside you at the lights then
burn them off! oh the fun.
nearly got caught doing this in brissy, alass the lovley officer
booked her instead! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

the way i drive i dont trust re treads.
also you never know how the casings they use are are.
if you can find a retread manufacturer that uses only casings from overseas such as japan they are much better as the aussie roads kill them out here and they give nothing but trouble.
but yes , they are legal.

8) g'day dw, good to hear you'r still around,
what the **** you doing in shtny?
and when you get some dosh to buy tyres,
get something that does the speeed limit,
you know disco's go fast.
oh, and how are the wheel bearings?
getting any pulling to the right when driving?
and is there any thing in the back now, other than a box with
bungee straps?
discowhite
28th January 2005, 08:12 AM
Harry just been scannin some of your pic's for the album.
the box is still there but it now has rope around it!!! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
disco is fine, ive been brisbane to biloela then to rockhampton
out to emu park/ keppel sands. then back to biloela then to brissy.
sat there for a week then down to sydney via border ranges
and armadale. not one problem with her! finally found the secret
for disco maintainance, LOTS OF IT.
as for the tyres I love these re treads, got them from apachee
wholesale in brissy ive now done 25 000k's on them, still lookin good.
and i do drive pretty hard, as in i frequently pick up the inside front tyre
when i go around corners. when they are no more im putting a set of 16'' simex on.

28th January 2005, 03:08 PM
well,
brisbane to armadale via beaudesert, woodenbong, bonalbo, right to
tenterfield, down to glen innes, stop at armidale over nite.
that was 470k's ish. next morning to sydney via, uralla, tamworth,
murrurundi,scone and muswellbrook thats 260k's.
keep going via singleton, maitland, then right onto the No.1
freeway to revesby thats 280k's.
a bit over 1000k's. i think that was about 3 and a bit tanks of juice.
@ average of $1.0/L
