Back up to the big smoke tomorrow for another dose of horsepower.They have a national meeting of top fuel and top bike,all the big guns from over east are here.

The Jets were impressive a couple of weeks ago,but cant wait to see the best go just as fast if not faster using mechanical force instead of thrust.

In the US, i was watching a show on the Discovery channel, and the funny cars are running faster now than the dragsters, well only one guy has got his funny car faster. Matt

Hi Guys
What a huge nite out those Top Fuelers are unbeliveable.The best time was a 4.8 sec at 303 miles an hour!!!!
Those motors are sectacular when they let go,The santos dragster let one go,about 1/4 track the flames from one of the headers turned green,then bright yellow,then all hell lets loose.flames everywhere.Apparently the green flame is the headgasket burning thru,then a hole burns thru the block.EXPENSIVE,a $100 000 engine in the bin.
They were so loud,and the vibration thru your chest is something.
If any of you are interested in drag racing but never seen the Top Fuelers it is really worth a nite out.

I will second that LA. They are truly awsome to watch. I know what you mean about the sound vibrating through your chest. The noise is that great you can see the sound vibrating through the air coming towars you, it looks like a heat haze in every direction. Truly something that has to be seen to be beleived. Matt
