I'm sure this has probably been done to death, but it never hurts to ask again
I'm after a winch for my D4, but don't have a bullbar and didn't realy want one...
So to fit a $400 winch I need to spend $3000 on a bulllbar :censored:
Is there any other options, I'm sure I saw a post for a concealed winch, if so does anyone know who would do this or would it have to be DIY..
Thanks and if anyone here is going to the weekend away in a couple of weeks, you will recognise me as I will be crawling all over any car with a winch to see how it's been fitted

Daryl,
Contact Greg Pearson from Cremorne Prestige Service. I think he has a concealed winch on the front of his D4.
Cheers,

Mine has a concealed winch. I'll most likely be getting rid of all the winch mount hardware in favour of a bullbar in the future. I'm happy to attempt to get some pics for you (I'm a bit physically limited right now because of a neck brace). I should definately be able to get some better pics towards the end of the month however

Check in the vendors area.
Barbagallos Perth had a genuine winch at a pretty substantial discount.

LR do a semi concealed winch for the Discovery 4, on the website, go to build a Discovery and click on the accessories, there is a pic of it fitted.
No idea of the price, but no doubt it wouldn't be all that cheap.
