Ordered an OL bar

I have ordered a bar from OL Bunbury:cool::cool::cool::cool:.
Not prepared to wait any longer for ARB to produce one:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:.
Had a good chat with Toby at OL today,he has just fitted a MY14 with the pre MY14 bar.
He has sent pics of the incomplete setup,there were parts that went missing and he couldnt get replacements before the vehicle returned to Kal today.
Brian,watch out for a grey TDV6 with black bar,winch,lightforce spotties and longrange tank/spare.It looks great!!!
OL Bunbury are dearer than the Perth OL shops,Toby is the first I have spoke to who is happy to tackle the job,happy to pay a bit extra for somebody who is confident in producing a good job.Should be fitted within 2 weeks.

Looks like Kal is about to lose another Disco. Shaun is coming down here in the D2 on Wednesday - has it booked in with Steve at Lifestyle for a couple of little jobs (repairing fuel & coolant leaks) - then he's going to sell it. He starts a new job later this month and wants a ute - keen on an Amorok.

The boss just got a new Dmax,I havent driven it or ridden in it yet.A few of the others have and think its the ducks nuts,really good on fuel compared to the Ranger Im told.
Beware the Amarock,no low range gears!!!!!

Unsure.
If he was into Land Rovers,no.
They had a kitted out Defender then a D3 in the past,the bloke I spoke to said the previous owner were the Landy lovers not him.
He is more than happy to work on them,even said he likes Landy owners as they seem to be happy to pay the going rate compared to other breeds who just want to haggle!!!
I was told at 1 Perth OL store he doesnt like Land Rovers and to go eleswhere,2 other OL stores said they would do the job but they are hard work and were busy doing mine vehicle fit outs,couldnt supply pics of jobs they said they had done either!!!!!!

Seen that plate in the past,I think they were on the Defender before the D3.

Peter hasn't run the Bunbury store for a few years but I believe he was involved with OL at a national level after that.

I remember his v8 d1, d3 then Defender. Shame, there hasn't been a kitted out LR outside that store for many years now :-(

He's the reason I started looking at Land Rovers, he and dad were in LROC Syndey together and he came to visit and they started reminiscing about the good old days ;)

If mine had not already come with the ARB bar, I would have bought OL, I think on the D4 they look better and are just as solid.

Got plenty of gear here waiting to fit.Drivesafe dual battery kit,UHF,Fyrlyt spotties,Redarc trailer brake controler,just finished cutting up the steel today for the rear fitout to suit my 80lt Engel.
Must get back to finishing the camper trailer when Im ready!!!!
