Computer connection for OBDII

G'Day All,

I have just picked up a Ultraguage for my '14 90. To save myself lots of time and effort, can someone please tell me where the OBDII connector is, and the easiest way to access it?
I believe it is somewhere on the drivers side. I an assuming in the dash...... I was thinking the speaker would be the easiest way into the dash.

Probably check the fuse box under the steering wheel...at least that's where it is with the pumas.

X2 - can't see that they would have moved it. Unfortunately the plug is too big to put the lid back without modifications. I've just left it off as the angle is steep enough not to affect "aesthetics" :D

I've been using one for three years now on my 2010 90 and I'm loving the ready flow of information.

If you undo the single screw holding the obd port holder in, you can take it out and push it back. Than plug it in leaving it back further so you can close the lid, you need to undo to speaker which makes it easy access behind fuse panel to plug it in.

As a temporary measure I am going to just take the screw out and push it in and connect behind the fuse maounting plate.

For a long term fix I will order a OBDII Male to 2x OBDII Female connector. This will enable me to resecure a female connector to the fuse mounting plate, and have one back up inside to feed the Ultraguage. I saw them advertised on Amazon of all places..... (sort of beats all that does...)

Generally you won't be able to use that second port for another reader.

OBDII does not like multiple readers on the system at once, and "interesting" things happened when I tried it.

Thanks fully none that could not be resolved by unplugging the battery for a while!
