View Full Version : Fitting LED spotlights to a RRS

Gentlemen,

I have a pair of rather nice LED spotlights, originally intended for another vehicle that I was thinking of putting on my 08 RRS. The headlights are quite good however this Sport spends much of it's time on country roads and I'd like a little more warning of kamikaze roos & wombats.

Any particular issues or don'ts I need to be aware of before going down this path? Also, suggestions for the switch placement much appreciated. I couldn't find any previous discussion on this relating to RRS but apologies if this has already been done to death.

Thanks,

Did anyone ever post a reply to switch placement?

Can't figure out a good spot for a light bar switch. Seems like there are electronics behind the panel containing the headlight selector knob and fog light switches.

Thanks in advance.

I can't answer for you but I know I've seen mentions here and there throughout various threads about fitting switches such as LLAMS, brake controllers etc. Most people seem to be able to fit a Redarc towpro controller knob in that particular panel at least.
