Just found this site. AWESOME, is all I can say, had to share withe everyone. It's all the parts and pricing (from many suppliers) all in one spot, with great diagrams and stuff too.

:Rolling::lol2: Well the title does say "land rover" :tease: Just kidding!
I guess it depends on what your chasing and if you know that it's the same as a defender part.

Thank you for the link.
Very interesting and useful site. The site owner (I think) raises a good point in one of his articles about buying poor quality parts vrs Genuine and says:-
"I believe that some older Land Rovers' reputation for poor reliability comes from the flood of cheap parts available at irresistible prices"
Makes you think!
Its ties in very nicely with the thread recently about the "counterfeit" Toyota parts. I was in the trade for a long time and the non-gen parts industry is massive business, as anyone with a Land Rover will attest. I realise that a counterfeit part is a cheap part branded as a Gen part but what about the likes of say britpart parts. here is a company that as far as I can tell buys poor quality parts from various suppliers and re-boxes them as "britpart" and this seems to be so much more acceptable, until you buy, and have a problem with a britpart part. As I have. Twice! I will not be caught a third time.
Anyway, good site with some very good information. I urge you all to have a read - even if you don't have a Defender (its VERY Defender dominant)
Cheers
Nino.
