Bogan Hunters... looking for Australias biggest Bogan. Just started seeing this on the TV here in NZ last night. It travelled from George Town Tas to Logan Pub somewhere I forget now... "You can kick the bogan out of the Logan pub but to can't take the Bogan out of Logan" :lol2: Watched out of a morbid cultural curiosity I guess.... I know/knew people like that... Almost identical characteristics between the two cultures between the two countries. Fascinating!

Westies or Bogans... some things withstand the change of nationality... :D

Been there done that. 1980s style in the kiwifruit boom heyday.
I now live near enough to Palmerston North that a trip to town for shopping on welfare day in the mall reveals some of the finer examples of boganism... purple hair, tats, slippers and sweat pants.
Universal laws of bogan, like the laws of physics, only change from one form to another - Aussie or Kiwi, same same... :Rolling:
Hell, NZ even has a legit PhD who studied Boganism for his doctorate. :lol2:

In my time working for Social Security, I observed that there were differing dress fashions from district office to district office. One could distinguish between dole recipients fromm Woodridge, Inala, Beenleigh, Goodna by their mode of dress.
