Hey everyone
Was hoping someone can give me more information on my 1957 series 1 (so I've been told) and what's its value
Trying to upload a photo. I have created a folder with a few photos

I'm sorry but we don't permit "what is it worth" questions by non-subscribers to the forum.

By all accounts from the outside it does look like a 57 or so Land Rover although somewhat modified.
Before anyone can tell you very much you will have to give out some information first, such as what else has been done to it besides the obvious flares, wide wheels etc. Does it still have its original motor/ gearbox/ diffs in it, or have they been replaced? A couple of numbers would also help, Chassis number, engine number and the likes of such, (as I am sure you have noted by now, there isn't that much difference on the outside from a 1957 model to a current defender, apart from a couple of minor refinements perhaps.:D.)
The reason people need to know all these things is to differentiate between your proposed customer base when you do get around to selling it.
For example, from a collector's point of view the replacement of the original engine/running gear with perhaps a Holden or Falcon engine drops the value of the beast drastically, whereas to someone who wants a good paddock basher then the engine change would mean very little, but I honestly feel that in this particular case, from what little information I can glean from your original post and pictures, the age of the vehicle would be of little use in upping the value of the car.
As for prices, as has been said so often before, its worth what someone will pay for it.
Regards
Glen
