Quick question, just returned from a 2000k round trip on and off road (very dusty and bumpy) with my 110 and noticed that the tc seems to have devolped a leak, looking from under the car it appers to be coming from top front and covering a few of the bolts on the lower cover plate, there apper to be signs of oil that has splashed back to the rear axel, the car hasnt had any previous oil leaks and from reading i was thinking or checking the breather to see it its blocked, do i access this from under the centre consol? what will i need ie new washers sealant? also worth mentioning at about 1600ks, towards the end of my trip i stopped for fuel and when i restarted the amber engin warning light came on, but after stopping and restarting that dissapeared would that be conected. Cheers Bru

I have never heard of the breather getting blocked. If it is like earlier 110s it extends to the engine bay.
More likely is the preload on the intermediate bearings was too low for too long and you have ovaled the hole in the front of the case that the intermediate shaft sits in. The fix is a steel sleeve - which is cheap - but requires the case to be removed and dismantled.

Reasonably common if the preload isn't adjusted regularly. Seems to happen faster on newer t-cases though.
If you look at the front face of the main part of the t-case (above the base plate) you should be able to see part of the intermediate shaft to see if the leak seems to be coming from there.

Need to have mine done, the leak is getting worse, it's a T case out job.

Breather runs to the engine bay and attaches to top of TC in a location best accessed under the cubby.
There's a good pic of where the intermediate shaft sits here in Aulro - do a search.
It could also just be loose cover plate/selector cover bolts/overfilling/running hot - I wouldn't jump the gun just yet re the intermediate shaft - mine started leaking from the selector cover once after some extended hot running and it turned out that it had been over filled. No issues since - so keep your fingers crossed.
Let us know what you find.
