G'day All,
I am trying to find a decent mechanic in Adelaide - now I know that will be a challenge but I live in hope.....
I have tried contacting PCB Land rover - does not answer the phone or reply to emails
Triumph Rover spares are too far away ( I live and hour and half north of the city)
Land Ranger are shut
Solitaire are useless
Not sure about Sovereign/Britpart they appear to be competent at stuffing things up - and that is just when ordering parts
Have a 2011 90" 2.4 (plus a few others) just looking for someone who knows what they are doing, is reasonably priced and most of all offers some level of customer service.....too much to ask?

Anyone have suggestions?

Try PCB again. Maybe Pete is away on extended holidays or something (he is a Pom - maybe he's had to go back to UK). Never had any dramas phoning, but emails tend not to be answered quickly.
Also - I have only ever had good work from Sovereign on my Disco and Defender....

Thanks for the info.
I'll keep trying PCB, I have only ever used Sovereign to order some Britparts and unfortunately the managed to get somewhat confused (twice) over a set of mud flaps, I wasn't questioning their work in all things mechanical, I'm sure they would be fine.
Does anyone else have any comments on sovereign's service?
Cheers

Brendan at British 4x4 is a nice guy, can be busy sometimes though. He has a number of tdi's in there always but works on TDCi's and the newer discos as well.

Bigjon (a member here) runs his own shop in Adelaide, and owns his fair share of Land Rovers and knows all about 'em.
Oh, and his a great bloke too.:)

Hi Game Owner. Yes, persist with Pete at PCB. He's been very busy of late, and has had time off as there's the pitter patter of little feet in the PCB household! I have an email address and mob number for him. PM me if you want them.
Brendan up at British 4x4 is winding down up there and will soon be moving back to Strath..
