Hi again.
I know there is a way to see where members are on here, but I have no idea how to look.
I'm hoping there is someone local to me near Armadale WA who has a nanocom and green cable for the p38.
I am still in the process of making a cable as I really don't want to pay the price that nanocom wants.
If any one is keen, I'd like to check the wiring to make sure I make mine correct.
Or if anyone wants to check for me, that would be great too.
Thanks Simon

If it's just to check the wiring I can take photos of the back of the plugs. Or are the cables insulated the whole way up to the plug so can't see what cable goes to what pin? Or are some cables the same colour so hard to work out from photos?

I haven't really taken notice of the cable so not certain how it looks.

Hi thanks, the cables are sealed, I was going to check with a multimeter to see what pin is connected to the pins on the other end.

I have this thread which I wanted to confirm.
What's the difference between Nanocom Evolution cables? (http://www.rangerovers.net/forum/12-diagnostic-equipment/44312-whats-difference-between-nanocom-evolution-cables-print.html)

I'm happy to check the continuity but I left my home volt meter at work so can't until Monday

Thanks Peter, that would be great. Could you also confirm what you class as pin 1 when you do it. Thank you, Simon

Not a problem, unless someone else beats me to it before Monday

Sorry but didn't get round to checking the lead. I will try tomorrow, but I'm out of the office so it may be in the evening before I get a chance.

No dramas, I'm still waiting for the end to be delivered any way, no rush.
Thanks Simon
