I can tell you all that 245/75/16 Coopers do not fit on a
1996 Disco series 1 with a 2 " lift and I have the rear guard damage to prove it.

Opposite lock recommended this combination to me and that it would all clear with no problems.

Needless to say I have since phoned Opposite Lock to piont out there error in judgement.

They have asked me to find out the cost of the repairs and they will compensate me in some way. :x

at least they are accepting responsibility for their judgement and willing to make it up to you.

if they never said anything you would have still done it and not benefited
in any way.

was there a much damage?

All thats required is a little trim off the rear guard to make them fit. I did this on the weekend to fit my 235/85/16 and they do not rub at all now.

Good to see OL is taking responsibility though.
