Rear View Mirror Reverse Cameras

So my wife wants me to install some parking sensors on our 110 so she can feel a bit more confidant parking our Defender in tight car spaces. We live 3 ks from the centre of Sydney so thats fair enough.
I notice now you can get rear view mirrors with an LCD screen inbuilt ,camera and parking sensors.
Has anyone fitted on of these? just wondering about rear camera placement and type etc etc.

If you do a search on "reverse cameras" in the Communications, Car Stereo, and Electronics area (or anywhere in AULRO), you'll find a plethora of posts about reverse cameras.

Daniel installed one on Monty for me, with the camera inside the rear bumper.

it's certainly helpful when parking - a bit tricky to see the image when it's sunny but you certainly get used to how much closer you can get without bashing something.

There's no visisbility of the corners though, where I have sticky-outy bumperettes though so I might think about moving the camera to a higher position, looking down.

Otherwise, very happy and a cheap mod.
