Double Din in D2

I Guys couldn't find this in the forum anywhere so thought I'd ask. My stereo has died in my 01D2 and I want to put in a proper audio system. Can anyone tell me if I can fit a double din deck in the dash. I'm sure I had seen it in other discos but doesn't look like it will fit. I'm looking at 6" splits, 6x9", 2 amps and a 12 in sub. Does any one see a problem I. My design apart from the 6x9" in the rear door may not fit?? May have to be 6" two or three ways. All help appreciated thanks.

No. but there was a guy who converted his D2 dash to accept a double DIN. Others may have/recall the link. If not PM me with an email address and I'll send the doc. Too many pics in it to load here.

get rid of the 6x9's and put in 6's.
you already got a sub, dont ruin the SQ with 6x9's.
