Hi all I have a friend with a Disco 3 Diesel auto and he is experiencing some difficulties, his Disco stops intermittently then restarts instantly plus his wipers cycle on start up and then intermittently while driving, he has tried clearing any faults using an OBD scanner and disconnected the battery for up to 12 hrs to reset the computer, does anyone have any ideas that may help his situation?
The car is based in Sth Freo.

You might have better luck posting in the disco 3 section and not here :D. But it could be as simple as a bad earth. Check the cheap stuff first!

Blown brake light bulb will also cause lots of issues.

...also check the posts on issues caused by a faulty brake light switch. Easy fix if it is faulty. Same brake light switch as a BA - BF Falcon
