Hey guys,

wondering if anyone can help me with a bit of advice for my 2006 TDV6 HSE?

I was trying to reset a fault code and tried whats called a Hard reset (didnt work for me). I think I must have arced a battery terminal or something because I've lost all power to my aircon system and I've noticed I have no outside temperature displayed on my instrument cluster?

Anyone know what I should check:eek:

I later went and bought a scan tool from Super Cheap and reset the code the safe way

I'd start by checking the associated system fuses if you think you've somehow managed to short circuit the system?

A hard reset ... you mean you removed both battery leads and touched the two terminal clamps together?

If you got an arc from doing that then you have a dual battery system. Always make sure both batteries are disconnected before trying that.
