I have just had an Outback swing away wheel carrier fitted. This required the removal of one of the rear parking sensors to fit the lock hitch. On previous models the installer had just bridged the terminals on the removed sensor plug, however he was warned against this by the manufacturer as another installer had done this on a 2014 model and blown the whole module. Apparently they changed the circuit in the 14MY models.Without this bridging the whole parking sensor system does not work. Any ideas?
