Thanks again everyone. .... Cheers Terry

The second D3/D4/RRS Lithgow camping and 4-wheel driving weekend was just held last weekend with the camping at Lake Lyell camp ground and the 4wding split into two groups and run over plenty of different tracks over the two days.
For those that are interested there will be plenty of trip reports in the aptly named Trip Reports section. ... ;)
This post to let every one know how the saturday night charity auction went which will see all the money collected donated to Aulro's charity of choice the Leukaemia Foundation. First off I would like to thank James 'Jimmy Salsa' (forum name) who not only came up with the idea of the auction but also managed to secure most of the really excellent products to be auctioned off. Secondly I would like to thank the various company's and individuals who so kindly donated so much well received product for this very good cause.
LLams Pty Ltd..............................Graeme (Graeme)
4WD industries Maitland ............... Ask for either Ben & Andrew
Green Oval Experience (GOE)....... Gordon (gghaggis)
Spotters Sunglasses
Misadventure 4WD....................... James (Jimmy Salsa)
The bidding on the Llams kits was so intense that the two top bids went past the RRP, there had been one phone bid that was near enough to the RRP but that price was passed in a flash. So with three people all wanting the one donated kit by Graeme I took a gamble and agreed to the two top bids getting one each and was hoping Graeme might be able to do us a deal on a second one at a good price. On my return home today I rang Graeme and told him how it all went and he very kindly decided to donate three Llams kits in total so none of the three bidders missed out! The three kits have a RRP over $1790 in total, which is pretty amazing that a one individual would be so generous, personally I would like to thank Graeme for his amazing generosity in supporting the charity auction and the Aulro forum.
With all these great items to be auctioned we had a great auction with Jimmy Salsa also acting as the auctioneer and bidding against himself on several occasions believe it or not. At the end of it and with Graeme's increased generosity we have managed to receive and have pledged over $4,000 that will all go to Aulro's charity of choice the Leukaemia foundation.
Last but not least I would like to thank the rest of the team who helped put together this great Aulro weekend trip, in no particular order Jonesy63, ~Rich~, Redback and last but not least Discoweb and also a big thank you to the Range Rover Club who also teamed up with us this weekend and their top trainer Ron Atherton who really did a great job on Saturday.
Again thank you to everyone who supported the weekend whether as a sponsor, participant, or one of the great team of blokes who helped to arrange and organise it all and made it happen.
Thanks again everyone. .... Cheers Terry
