Rotary Gear Shift Selector Recall 2013-2014

I thought I would share an issue with the group.

I received a letter from Land Rover advising there maybe an issue with the

"Transmission Control Switch (TCS-gear knob) may fail to rise when the Start/Stop ignition switch is pressed. Repeated cycling of the Start/Stop ignition may temporarily overcome this"

I have been requested to take it in for service.

"The models are 2014 Range Rover, 2013 and 2014 model year Discovery 4 and 2013 and 2014 Range Rover Evoque vehicles"

The recall/service action is VIN defiant. Not all vehicles are effected. SO not everyone will get a notice.
