Looking at 275 X 45 X 20 Nexens and currently have HANKOOK VENTUS AS RH07 255/50/20
Has anybody had experience with these?
Wondering if also the tyre aspect ratio will be a problem,
255/50/20 is owners handbook recommendations.

I run the Nexen 255/50/20's so I can't advise on the different size, but the tyres themselves are ok for the price (cheapest I could find...)
I'm on my second set now, I got about 2 years out of the others, and they were around 80% when I bought the car, so at a guess, I'd say they would run to around 50 to 60KKM. Grip levels are good on both dry and wet roads, and I've also done a lot of dirt road KM on them. Also been off road a few times, but have to tip toe around on them if you do that.

My muddies are Nexen in 265/75/16 and i will happily buy them again, good grip and seem to be wearing as well as expected for muddies used daily.

told I drive a bit like a grandma, but I am about to buy another pair of nexen roadians I think they are, I get about 70k out of them with about 80% of that being highway miles.
Like bacicat they were the cheapest at the time......
I had a 1/2 inch diameter bolt go through the tread on one about a week after I got the last pair, plugged it and has done about 20k since.

Thank you very much Gents, sounds like a very good value tyre.

My previous set were Nexens,
Had a good run , 70-80k , and as much as I can remember
they were a pretty tough tyre, little or no punctures.
Hopefully the quality hasn't dropped like other brands!

Just be sure you get the correct load rated tyre.
Don't ask why I suggest that.....

I had Nexen Roadian HP tires on a L322 once and found them to be a great tire!
I have just worn down a set of Atturo az800.. These have been awesome and have amazed me at what they have gone thru.. they are a little noisy for a road type tire thou
I am now about to go to Pirrelli Scopion atr's as they are a not too aggressive AT and should be awesome when i do get off road but still have good road manners.. see how they go
^All on 20" wheels
