MY13 on TDV6 engine

I was wanting to know if the engine 520nm / 155kw is an identical engine just detuned

IE: Can I take it to a dyno and get better than SE / HSE power or do they restrict it somehow like with injectors or similar?

I could be wrong but i believe its more than just a tune i read a while ago on here i think its injectors that are smaller and a few others things its not just a simple tune sadly.

I could be wrong but ill see if i can find the link.

I have an sdv6 and earlier in the year the loaner for my service was a tdv6 2013....I could honestly not tell the difference. The 8 speed may have hid the performance and it did not have the weight my car often tows, but I had to check the badge to confirm that it was the lower tune.
