Pleasant suprise (good service)

Well I have been getting a car ready for a road worthy for my daughter. Went to Tyre world in Bayswater Vic. Not exactly the whole world of tyres but they did have what I wanted, two tyres for the rear. Got back home and began the next road worthy items. Replace the rear discs and pads. So got the plastic cover of the wheel and found that they had greased the wheel nuts to prevent them from binding and seizing. Also the nuts where only reasonably tight, not as usually done to near snapping the studs tight. So as far as I can remember this is the first tyre mob that I have come across that has done this. :thumbsup:

Yesterday a small local parts supplier surpassed himself.. As we had to replace the bearing on a td5 the only tool not on hand was a 12 mm hex key. Upon reaching the shop the owner was closing up but said that if we followed him home we could have one of his. This guy didnt know us , but the unsaid response will be my mate returns to purchase and replace the one loaned in good faith. He now has two more customers

I recently had a front to rear rotation done at TTS tyre service in Wacol. He nipped the nuts up with a rattle gun and finnished with a torque wrench, which I believe is now compulsory. Once done, he refused any payment. I know where I'm buying my next tyres from.
