G'Day DM!!:) Yes, I remember when the wall was built, it was indeed a tense time with the Cold War raging. The Cuban Missile Crisis was about the same time and we watched these events unfolding with baited breath.

They were indeed happy days when the wall eventually came down. Many people were killed trying to flee the tyranny of East Germany by attempting to climb the wall.

G'day Mr Free:D I remember as kid watching it come down and the emotion on peoples faces told thousands of stories. I noticed on the news tonight that Mikhael Gorbachiev (probably wrong spelling) was saying another cold war is on the way and has probably already started.
