HI, Ive got a 2000 D2 TDI, Having problems with door acuator, When the D2 is parked locked or unlocked the doors sound like its trying to lock or unlock, The clicking sounds like its rotating around all doors. The remote workes fine, I replace the lock and acuator in the back door wich fixed my interior light problem. I then replaced the right hand front lock and acuator witch fixed the problem for about 24 hours. I am running duel battery system and its running the battery s flat. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Check on the driver's door where the wiring loom enters in the door to not be chaffed and make short to earth cos then it can give some earth signals to BCU on the door switch's circuit like when you turn the key in the lock and mix up the central locking

I found the problem, for those interested, The power window wiring in the right hand door had come dislodged at the plastic tab and when putting the window down stretched the wiring loom. I replaced the wiring and problem fixed. Special thanks to Sierafery for putting me on the right track.
