Watch the Texas mile that link that come up after watching that dyno run.
The thing is so relaxed delivering the power,no rushed gearchanges!!!!!
Tried linking it here didnt work, must be something to do with the Top Gear site.
They went faster anyhow, see this link!!!!

Why is it a ****? And from what i saw it didn't almost blow up. Boost just came on and lots of it by the sound of it. I wouldn't mind that in my garage. [emoji3][emoji3]

I can make a rover 3.5 make 2000HP if you tell the dyno the right things about the ambient conditions. All too often you see outrageous dyno figures and then look at the bottom of the dyno sheet and it's 80 degrees in the dyno cell, inlet temps over 100degrees etc etc. so the compensated figures are inflated.

It's a **** because they cut the throttle as soon as it came on boost,1900HP for a second and thats it,you want it in your garage, have enough money in your pocket for a bus ticket to get home. Pat

They didn't cut the throttle. They backed it off after full power was made. Have you ever seen high powered cars on a dyno before? You will see the same thing happens. I drive a Landrover, there's always a bus ticket in the glove box. [emoji23][emoji23]

Rolls Royce would only pass an engine off as fit for service after it produced it's claimed output running for an hour non stop,Jaguar ran it's super charged V8 for 24 hours at it's redline before passing it,how many of these high poo engines would hold together if subjected to the same treatment?,the fact they cut the throttles really really gives you your answer. How long has it been since RR or Jag made an engine??? And how puny was the power per cc??? (not to mention the fact this is a one-off custom/race engine - which is usually built to last 1 race).
Admit it Pat, you are just jealous :D If it had a pommy badge you would be raving about how good it was...
